Why there is no moon during the daytime offers insight into the life of a pregnant woman who discovers she is HIV-positive in rural northern Vietnam. This poetic short fiction written by a young female Vietnamese screenwriter, is based on real experiences of HIV positive women that organized a support group for themselves in Hanoi.
